Dancing is a compulsion for me

Unrefined, the intolerance for stillness

A series of histories imbued in my body

A constant flow of intrigue and unknown wisdom waiting to be unlocked

Am I unaware of the power in my stance?

An investigation for representation

No longer a denial phase of what is defined as beautiful

All forms reside in cultural significance, activation of remembrance

A desire for refuge and acknowledgement for lost and hidden bodies, needing a stance, demanding a voice, from a different face

How can I find explanations for human behavior?

How can I find interpretations in monotonous choreography?

It declares resilience

For artistry found in defiance

Am I shaped by the willingness to explore risk with momentum
through intimate venues?

From improvisations to abstract movement designs

Can such fluidity and resistance be shared?

Dancing is a compulsion for me
